Who Can Register?
To vote in Pennsylvania, you must meet the following requirements:
Be a citizen of the United States for at least one month before the election.
Be a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which you want to register and vote for at least 30 days before the next election.
Be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next election.
How to Register
Apply Online
You can fill out an online voter application form up until 15 days before the upcoming election. Be sure to have your PA Driver's License or PennDOT ID handy prior to filling out your application, as they will be needed to verify your identity before submission.
Paper Application
Step 1: Download and print the paper voter registration form.
OR
Obtain a paper voter registration form in-person by visiting the Erie County Voter Registration Office.
Step 2: Once completed, the application should be mailed or physically submitted to:

PennDOT photo and driver's license center offer automatic voter registration, providing eligible Pennsylvanians with a convenient way to register to vote when they obtain a new driver's license or ID card or renew their existing identification.
